The magistrate’s court is in charge of issuing all legal provisions required in a criminal matter. So, as such, only the local tribunal with criminal jurisdiction has the powers to issue arrest warrants in Pacific County, Washington. However, it would be wrong to assume that the police have no part to play in active warrants in the state.

According to federal and state criminal laws, the sheriff’s office has to make a formal complaint in court when they need to arrest an individual who could not be taken into custody immediately after the illicit act was committed or from the scene of the crime. This means that if possible suspects’ names emerge in the investigation’s due course, the police can call the alleged offenders in for questioning.

However, the individuals are not legally required to show up at the precinct. Also, even if they do agree to be questioned, the police cannot detain them. In contrast, a Pacific County, WA active arrest warrant gives peace officers the right to barge into the accused’s home or office and take him/her into custody. Such detention is only revoked once bail is granted to the offender by the court of law.

Given the sheer power that arrest warrants have in judicial processes, the issuing court, the police, and the county clerk’s office maintain records about all active and outstanding warrants issued by Pacific County tribunals.

It is also possible to find other legal provisions such as search orders, bench warrants, and these sources’ likes. To get in touch with these agencies for a warrant search, head to 300 Memorial Dr, South Bend, WA 98577. The magistrate’s offices, the county clerk, and the sheriff are all located at this address.
